Goals
.
…in love:
To be alone, and with a friend, to recognize the border
to watch it sway between the two, to see its harshness falter
to feel the joy, to know the bliss, to form the line again
and when apart to have no fear of loss or something said
.
… in time:
To live life not as captives
to feel present, not the past
nor fret the future, for it brings
unknowns that never last
.
…in purpose:
To know that caring never stops
nor drains away the soul
but letting its expression change
reveals the depths of whole
.
…in career:
To be happy when another pays
for any value that I bring them
and when they don’t, to look again
for a place I was made to fit in
